If there isn't a specific swearword for getting halfway through lining in a draft sketch in permanent pen, being rather pleased with it, then realising that for some reason you have depicted a right-handed character firing a service revolver left-handed, and being unable to simply flip the image in Photoshop because of stuff like hair partings, buttons, belt-pouches, etc. all being on their correct side[s]...
...then there BLOODY WELL SHOULD BE, to my mind.
Hrrrrngh....
[On the plus side, the paper I used for this one - which was intended as one frame in a strip - turned out to be woefully unsuitable for photographing and colouring in Photoshop, as the (actual, physical, rubber) eraser not only works at about 50% efficiency, but also tends to scrape and fluff it up something terrible, both of which lead to a serious degree of jagged and murky patches in the electronic file which are Not Easily Got Rid Of...so a good excuse to start all over again on smoother paper for the strip, and possibly use this as a (kind of AU ;) ) header image for the LJ. It's too good to waste (by my standards, anyhoo).]
Appropriate icon is appropriate.

Hmm...you could flip it, and then flip the buttons&etc and move them to their right sides...but that sounds like a lot of fiddling, esp. if you're colouring it by hand.

Oh, well. I like the hair, anyhow. :) Might scrub Watson and the deformed horsey out and use the pic for a spot of colouring practice!
